Hi Everyone! Can you believe that Celebration V has now come and gone? I feel like we talked about it forever and just like my wedding, it came and went like a blink of an eye! There were soooo many cool things that happened and I don’t even know where to start, so I’ll just start listing…
1. GEORGE LUCAS and The Main Event!!!!!!!!!!
I have only met George Lucas twice. So to see him in person again was pretty cool. It was also cool to see Jon Stewart. He was very funny and he did an excellent job hosting the event. George Lucas was very inspiring. He talked about the odds that he had to overcome to make Star Wars and how despite everything against him, he never gave up. He talked about believing in yourself, doing things yourself and being persistent. When I walked out of the theatre, I was so in awe and inspired, I felt like I could achieve anything. Check out this video when George Lucas walked onstage, the crowd was electric!
2. The Clone Wars
We did a ton of press for season 3 of The Clone Wars and it was sooo exciting to finally start talking about it!!! We have been working on season 3 for a long time now and I cannot wait until Sept. 17th for the season to premiere on Cartoon Network. Ahsoka has a lot of great episodes in Season 3. She grows up and matures a great deal throughout the season and definitely look for some connections to the old saga in this new season. While we were at Celebration the Clone Wars CG Supervisor, Joel Aron (who is also an AMAZING photographer) was so kind to do a cast photo shoot with us. He took some amazing photos and here is a sample of his work! I can’t wait to show you more…
3. Her Universe
To all of the fans, male and female, who came out and supported Her Universe I want to give you a big hug and say THANK YOU!!!!! It was a great weekend for Her Universe and we made another HUGE leap in the right direction by proving that women will buy/wear Star Wars merchandise. I am so inspired by all of the amazing fans that I met and I cannot wait to start designing more stuff for you! I took down several notes and we will be going into more design meetings soon. This is just the beginning! It was also soooo cool to host the first ever Star Wars fashion show and to see some of my designs up on the same stage as Adidas, Mad Engine and Junk Food! It was truly and honor. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch the fashion show!
4. The Fans
You made the entire Celebration experience worth it! Thank you for coming out and supporting us! Thank you for waiting in the long autograph lines (I know I talk too much and that made my line longer, but I really enjoy meeting everyone!) Thank you for all your kind words about the show, Ahsoka, and Her Universe. We would not be here if it weren’t for you. You make this all possible. You have been so accepting of The Clone Wars and you have truly made us feel like part of the Star Wars family.

Hey Ashley. I just wanted to say thank you. My daughter loves the Her Universe shirt(autographed) and autograph photo that I got from you. I am still trying to convince her that wearing the shirt is okay. She is 6, and she is apparently old enough to know that if she wears it, I will wash it. And, that means that eventually your autograph will wear out.

Well I didn’t make it to cel five but I will start planning now to attend cel six!! It looked like so much fun!! And I have already put one of the her universe tees on birthday wish list!! I Can’t wait for Clone Wars season three next month!!

It was a grand Celebration. Got a LUKE “Her Universe” shirt too…and I LOVE it Ashley. The Main Event was AWESOME. Besides what you said, being in the same room as the Maker left me speechless. Wow! Looks like it went great. Wish I could have been there. I’m planning to make an order as soon as I save up enough money. Cannot wait for new Clone Wars episodes!!! I’m getting so restless waiting. Today I made a video montage of every commercial from season 2 that I could find. I’ve kind of started a collection. lol
Ashley, my friend (Kaidlen) was all gaga for your clothes. I ended up buying a hoodie, which I love. But I was wondering if you have any plans to begin catering to women who like the tighter fit but have bigger .busts than your average kid. I was afraid to buy shirts because the ones that fit my waist are waaaay too tight for my top, and the ones that fit the top make me look like a bag lady.
Let me know if you ever do, because I want one of everything. No kidding.
Kaidlen here. I had such a fantastic time at CV. I LOVE my limited edition Empire Strikes Back necklace I bought. I’ve been getting lots of complements on it too. More importantly, I enjoyed meeting you while we were in Orlando.
Btw, Cheryk’s hoodie looks awesome on her. I plan to eventually get one for myself.
Oh, I loved watching you in the Indiana Jones Star Wars mash up stunt spectacular at the Disney Studios. It was hilarious.

I managed to get a CV exclusive necklace from the HR booth, and was glad to see it was a success (again). I must admit, I was surprised to see how long your autograph line was, and to be on the same side as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Anthony Daniels too!
Oh, and ask Catherine about the special “Padme” necklace I gave her on Saturday. The artist who made it was sure excited to make it for her.
Oh, how I wished I lived in Orlando!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could have been there!!!! It looks AMAZING!
Star Wars Celebration V was, in one word, SPECTACULAR!
I attended the Clone Wars Season 3 Revealed and it was amazing to see Mr. Dave Filoni casually chat on stage for us fans. My favorite part, however, was the question and answer session! It was EXTREMELY lively…and made many people’s day.
The Her Universe booth looked great as well! Everyone was kind-hearted and took the time to help me decide what size shirt to purchase. I would be honored to stop by the booth at another event to thank them again personally.
As Darth Vader would say, the booth was
“Impressive, most impressive.”
I’ll be tuning in September 17th; I can’t wait!!!

I think HerUniverse should put a store in some malls. it would be great, even if I don’t get to go to malls alot (like three times a year!)

It sounded awesome! I wish I could have gone! Did you know we’re the same height? I’m only a teenager but I won’t grow anymore and it turns out we’re the same height. Celebration V was one, if not the, best weekend of my life. I can’t describe how awesome it was to be in the same room as so many people who had the same liking for one single franchise… it was such a beautiful thing. It might sound cheesy… but I don’t think I’ve ever felt so inspired as a person and individual as I did listening to the panels and the people and FANS that I met there! Everyone there surpassed my expectations and I can’t think of anything that would top it.
). We are more “closet fans” than anything, but after CV my interest and confidence in my love for Star Wars was inspired, and even grew, something I didn’t think was possible. Meeting people like you, Ashley (three times!) inspire confidence in me and my friend. We are quickly realizing that being a Star Wars fan… is nothing to be ashamed of.

I love Ahsoka’s new look, for the new season. I ordered my Padm`e shirt today, and hopefully I’ll be odering the jappor snippet when it comes out, that is if it is and I’m probably going to wear it everywhere. I am a HUGE Anakin/Padm`e fan. I want to see some more romance between those two love birds coming up.
